| To gain this badge
the Explorer Scout must complete the following requirements.
1) Take part for at least 50 hours in a voluntary service
project that is of benefit to your local community. Examples
of projects might be:

Conservation project

Assisting at a local library

Helping with the administration of a local group or club

Helping at a home for the elderly or handicapped
Assisting at a local tourist office - Any other service project agreed by the leadership team.
The project should be completed outside of Scouting
